UN GATE / SDNY
COURT, May 8– As the United
Nations moves its talk-shop to
merely video event, under
Antonio Guterres it has now
taken the unprecedented step
of refusing to give video
footage, paid for by the
world's taxpayers, to Press
that Guterres doesn't like.
Inner City Press has been
covering the UN's role in
speading COVID-19 in South
Sudan though lax social
distancing practices and
flying in and out of the
country international staff
with the virus.
It has
produced video package of
press briefing it is banned
from asking questions at,
filmed in New York in the
penthouse apartment of
Guterres spokesman Stephane
Dujarric and even in Juba, by
David Shearer and his
Francesca Mold.
Suddenly
on May 6 its requests for
publicly funded mp4 video
footage of the briefing were
not longer responded to. Inner
City Press on May 8 wrote for
video or an explanation, on
deadline, to members of the UN
Department of Global
Communications run by Melissa
Fleming, including two we are
not now not naming. No answer,
no video.
Fleming and Guterres throw
these people under hte bus,
turning them into censors.
Recently Dujarric on video
shed crocodile
tears for a long time
worker in UN television who
died - well, Inner City Press
knew him and he would be
turning over in his grave. One
said that Miguel left just in
time, before Guterres turned
those who'd remained in 2B
into censors.
Guterres and
Dujarric corrupt everything
they touch, and now withhold /
steal public money. We will
have more on this.
