Exclusive, Nov 15 –
The
mild-manner
bespectacled
man whose eyes
appear big
behind his
spectacles
when he
professes
surprise,
Xavier Michon,
UNCDF’s Deputy
Executive
Secretary, is
UNDP’s spy at
UNCDF.
The complete
double-faced
behavior which
Mr. Michon has
truly mastered
has led to his
success in
betraying his
team-mates at
UNCDF,
multiple
whistleblowers
tell Inner
City Press.
On November
15, after publishing
on November 13,
Inner City
Press asked
UNSG Antonio
Guterres and
his
spokespeople
Stephane
Dujarric,
Farhan Haq and
Melissa
Fleming about
Michon - and Gindin
Nothing, no
answer at all
- corruption.
Now,
a second
report: "Was
it love, money
or pension
protection?
As women staff
at the UN we
saw the note
in Inner City
Press on
Xavier
Michon’s
partnership
with his
Executive
Associate,
Marianna
Gindin. We
work in
operations at
the
UN.
We have
uncovered the
following
facts:
Marianna
Gindin, now
holding a
Canadian
passport, is
of white
Eastern
European
origins. A
divorcee,
living with
her partner
near the UN,
she
reconnected
with her
ex-husband a
Middle East
consultant,
whom she had
known
previously at
UNDP.
Ms. Gindin
made a plan to
boost her
income. She
brought her
ex-husband
into the UN as
a consultant
for the Middle
East,
pretending
that she did
not know him.
She convinced
Xavier Michon
with whom she
has had a long
association,
and together
they have
planned
several
conspiracies
in the past to
entrap and
accuse the
innocent,
hard-working
staff of the
UN.
Xavier
Michon signed
off on the
expensive
consulting
contract.
Marianna used
all kinds of
false
statements to
pressure
operations
staff to
process the
contract. The
financial
terms of the
contract were
favorable. No
one else knew
about any of
these details
at that
time.
Marianna moved
in to live
with the
consultant in
an apartment
on the Upper
West Side near
an ageing
relative.
There was a
common bank
account into
which the
monies of the
consulting
contract were
deposited from
which Ms.
Gindin
withdrew
funds. Michon
again signed
the contract
extension for
the
consultant.
Ms. Gindin is
another one of
the long-time
UN employees
on the
‘pension
track’
awaiting for
her full
pension and
healthcare
benefits in
about 5 years.
She will take
the earliest
retirement
opportunity on
full pension
-- the UN has
an
‘environment’
and she needs
to get away.
She spends her
days mostly
working
remotely and
painting. All
under the
permission of
her
supervisor,
Xavier
Michon.
In June 2022,
there was a
fall-out of
this triangle.
Michon accused
the Middle
East
consultant of
somethings,
the consultant
retorted back.
Threats went
back and
forth. The
contract was
closed
ASAP.
In October,
Xavier Michon
was to travel
to an
operations
retreat to
Kigali for a
week. In the
end, he could
not travel. On
the eve of her
travel, Gindin
cancelled her
mission.
Xavier Michon
treats women
in the UN with
disdain often
ordering us
around with an
air of
superiority.
He tries to
dominate us
with his
superior
French white
man
attitude.
