UN
Guterres Lies To Staff On Coronavirus
After Only Told His Favorites UNnamed
Philippines Dip Has Covid 19
By Matthew
Russell Lee, Exclusive
UN GATE, March 13
– How
corrupt and irresponsible
is the UN
of Antonio Guterres?
Well, while
Guterres
roughs up and
bans the Press
which asks
about
Coronavirus
and his
complicity,
with Cameroon,
an unnamed
diplomat from the
Philippines has
come down with
Covid-19.
Now
on March 13 it
has emerged
that when the
UN had this
information it
only sent it
to its less
than 100 "active"
resident
correspondents,
members of the UN
Correspondents
Association on
which Chinese
state media Xinhua
has an ongoing
veto-weilding
seat. Aren't
organizations
supposed to
tell all those
who are in jeopardy?
Today's
UN is
irresponsible,
and a menace.
Now
from Guterres'
lying letter to
staff: " I
have decided
to step up
measures at
United Nations
Headquarters
to mitigate
the spread
ofthe COVID-19
virus. Our aim
is twofold:
reduce our
physical
presence at
United Nations
Headquarters;
and continue
delivering on
our mandates.
It is
essential that
we reduce
social contact
to a minimum
and follow the
clear
instructions
ofthe World
Health
Organization
to minimize
the risks of
transmitting
the infection.
I have
therefore
decided that
from Monday,
16 March to
Sunday, 12
April 2020,
all staff will
be required to
telecommute
and work
remotely,
unless their
physical
presence in
the building
is needed to
carry out our
essential work
in New York
and around the
world. This
will happen in
line with the
business
continuity
plans that
departments
and offices
have prepared
and tested
recently.
After three
weeks, we will
assess the
necessity of
maintaining
the reduced
level of
staffing the
building. The
Senior
Emergency
Policy Team
and Crisis
Operations
Group will
continue to
assess our
preparedness
and other
measures, and
senior
managers and I
will be in
regular
contact with
you." Yeah,
right -
after three
years of
running to
Lisbon and
retaliating.
Guterres should
be jailed.
Inner City
Press has asked,
before the
UN's March 13
noon briefing,
"March 13-1:
On the
Coronavirus
Covid-19,
please
immediately
state the
conditions and
mitigation for
the lay off of
all Delegates
Dining Room
staff which
Inner City
Press reported
yesterday
after being
contacted by
staff
complaining
there is no
mitigation of
economic harm.
Separately,
has SG
Guterres been
tested for
COVID-19?" No
answer at all, nor
to a question
about a
Portuguese
visitor to
Guterres. Watch
this site.
Here's
Philippines,
whose website
does not
list staff:
"12 March
2020, New
York. -- A
staff of the
Philippine
Mission to the
United Nations
has tested
positive today
for the
COVID-19
virus. Deputy
Permanent
Representative
Kira D.
Azucena,
Charge d
Affaires, a.i.
of the
Mission,
immediately
advised the
United Nations
medical
director’s
office of this
development,
as well as the
NYC health
department.
The latter’s
advice was to
self-isolate.
CDA Azucena
also advised
the other
Missions to
the United
Nations
accordingly.
As of today,
the Philippine
Center in New
York housing
the Philippine
Mission is on
lockdown until
further notice
and its
employees have
been
instructed to
self-quarantine
and to seek
medical
attention
should they
develop the
symptoms.
The staff
currently
isolated is in
good
condition. She
last visited
the United
Nations last
Monday, March
9, for about
30 minutes —
from 12.50 to
1.20 pm. She
was
asymptomatic
then. The
following day,
Tuesday, March
10, she came
down with
flu-like
symptoms and,
in accordance
with the
Mission’s
office
protocol, did
not report for
work that day
and saw her
doctor. She
tested
positive for
flu and was
prescribed
Tamiflu. She
got the call
today that she
tested
positive for
COVID-19.
The Philippine
Mission will
continue to
work closely
with the New
York health
department to
monitor the
situation."
The UN should
be shut down -
permanently,
or until Guterres
is gone and in
jail. ICC or MCC.
While
the United
Nations preaches
how countries
should
mitigate the
impacts of
their response
to Coronavirus
COVID-19,
at UN Headquarters
under
Secretary
General Antonio
Guterres the
Delegates
Dining Room workers are
being summarily
laid off, with
no mitigation.

This

We will
have more on
that.
