UN GATE, Nov 27 –
The United Nations in order to
"drown out" information
critical of the UN on the
Internet is deploying money
both public and from the IKEA
and Luminate foundations, and
an army of 10,000 supporters
or bots, UN official Melissa
Fleming said on June 29. Video
here.
Now with Fleming and the
censor she propagandizes for
Antonio Guterres justifying
their misuse of public funds
as being to "Verify"
information about COVID-19,
this approach similar to
theirs, from Burundi: "In
addition, some information is
given to media close to power.
Thus, on April 11, 2020, only
the national radio and
television, Mashariki TV and
radio Tv Rema FM were
authorized to cover the press
conference while the
journalists of SOS Media,
those of Radio Isanganiro,
those of the Groupe de press
Iwacu and those from radio
culture were ordered to leave
the premises."
Fleming
and Stephane Dujarric (and
Farhan Haq) ban Inner City
Press from their near-empty
briefing room even even WebEx
Zoom room - while Fleming
pontificates on with with
Luminate. We'll have more on
this.
This
comes while Fleming and UN
Secretary General Antonio
Guterres are banning
independent Inner City Press
878 days from entering or
asking questions of the UN,
now as Inner City Press
exclusively published and has
more information about UN
sexploitation in Tel Aviv. See
Inner City Press exclusive
video here,
now with 168,000 views - but
stonewalling by UN.
For
ten days, the UN has refused
to answer a simple written
question: "confirm that the
"Luminate" mentioned by USG
Fleming on June 29 is Pierre
Omidyar's foundation." No
answer.
But here's the
proof: "Nishant Lalwani,
Managing Director of Luminate,
said, 'We are proud to be
supporting Verified." So why
not answer? Same to Barcelona
based "journalist" Damaso
Reyes who refused to answer an
"Ask Me Anything" question on
Reddit, here.
Meanwhile Fleming is
spending the public's money on
her vanity podcast,
interviewing those accused of
sexual harassment to
rehabilitate them. We'll have
more on this.
The
program is called "Verify," or
"Share Verified," but Fleming
and UN Spokesperson Stephane
Dujarric have refused to even
confirm or deny who works for
the UNTSO mission, or where
Guterres' son Pedro works.
While there is no written
public disclosure of funders
of "Verify," the Luminate online speaks of a "Omidyar
Network grant towards greater
government transparency and
accountability." It claims
it is for transparency and
independent media. If so, it
should stop or be made to stop
funding the UN's censorship
program immediately. It is
hypocrisy.
The UN
claims to have a zero
tolerance for sexual
exploitation by its staff and
peacekeepers, but routinely
covers up their abuses
including the rape of
children, withholding basic
information which was provided
to the Press under Ban Ki-moon
but not now under Antonio
Guterres.
Inner City Press, which
Guterres has banned from the
UN for 728 days as it asks
about these and his abuses, on
June 23 received from outraged
UN whistleblowers video of
sexual exploitation, they
said, in a white UN-marked
vehicle, here.
Now Instagram,
Facebook.
Now early
on June 29 Inner City Press
has asked Guterres, Melissa
Fleming, Stephane Dujarric and
others: "This is a formal
request from Inner City Press
for the pass code(s) to be
able to participate in and ask
questions in today's United
Nations noon
briefing.
For the reason
set for below, to not
immediately this morning grant
this timely request would be
both censorship and a cover up
- Inner City Press on the
afternoon of June 23 asked
each of you about the UN
sexploitation in UN vehicle
video which it first
published. On the morning of
June 28 Inner City Press
published and asked about the
two men multiple UN
whistleblowers tell it are the
ones seen in the UN vehicle.
Inner City Press has a right
to ask this question of the
UN, and to get an
answer.
Note that
only this morning June 29 the
IMF again took, read out and answered
Inner City Press' questions,
on Cameroon, Botswana,
Republic of Congo, etc. It is
shameful for the UN that you
block the Press - and
telling.
Inner City Press has
additional information and
questions and has a right to
ask them. Unless, of course,
this "investigation" is just a
cover up. Inner City Press,
which was been provided
information from UN
whistleblowers, has not been
contacted as part of this
"investigation." See, e.g.,
June 27, 2020, "UN chief
‘shocked’ by video of sex act
in official car in Israel,"
"The video, released by Inner
City Press on Tuesday, shows a
woman in a red dress
straddling a man in the back
seat of a vehicle with U.N.
marking as it drives away.
Inner City Press, an outlet
that has reported and shined a
light on corruption at the
world body for years and was
banned from reporting on U.N.
grounds in New York in 2018,
reports that the vehicle was
part of a U.N. Truce
Supervision Organization
(UNTSO) mission in Tel Aviv,
Israel," here.
Yesterday Inner
City Press posed this question
to UNTSO and Ms Fleming and
Mr. Guterres - no
answer:
From: Matthew
Russell Lee
Date: Sun, Jun 28, 2020 at
2:13 PM
Subject: Press Q: confirm or
deny that Michael Antoine is
with UNTSO (& his role in
this). Same Q re Ray Milan. On
deadline. Please immediately
confirm receipt. Thanks in
advance To: Antonio Guterres,
Melissa Fleming, Judy Hylton,
Sophie Boudre
This is a Press
question on deadline:
Please confirm or deny that
Michael Antoine, whose past
promotions and transfers out
of UNTSO including to the
UN-OPCW mission in Syria Inner
City Press has previously
asked the UN spokesmen about
without answer, is with UNTSO
(and his role in
this). Same
question regarding Ray Milan.
On deadline. Please
immediately confirm receipt."
No answer as of June 30.
Guterres' UN is corrupt.
