Which Asks of Cost

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 11 – While the UN
cries poor and demands from
the public more money - none
of which goes to the UN's
victims in Haiti of the
cholera the UN brought, or the
victims of its peacekeepers'
rapes in central Africa - UNSG
Antonio Guterres repeatedly
uses public money to fly to
his real home in Lisbon,
Portugal.
On January 11 and 12, soon
after Guterres went on a three
week junket the last ten days
of which were undisclosed, he
is back in Lisbon again on the
public dime. Inner City Press
has repeatedly asked for a
disclosure by the UN of the
costs to the public. These
response has been ouster
from the UN, and no
answers.
On January 11
Guterres or more likely one of
his many publicly paid
propaganda staffers tweeted a
photograph of him in Lisbon
(in a way that a recent photo
of him in a tuxedo at the
opera there, with UN Security,
was not tweeted by the UN.)
Inner City Press replied with
a question,
here. No answer.
Here is
the UN's spin, delivered on
January 10 by Guterres Deputy
Spokesman Farhan Haq who has
become, like his boss Stephane
Dujarric, little more than a
cover up for UN peacekeeper's
rapes: "The Secretary-General
tomorrow will take part in a
ceremony in Lisbon to kick off
that city’s designation as
European Green Capital... The
Secretary-General will attend
the inauguration of an
interactive installation
titled 'One' and taking place
at the Lisbon
Oceanarium. It is worth
noting that the 2020 UN Ocean
Conference will also be held
in Lisbon in early
June." Worth noting by
whom - Guterres' publicly
funded travel agent?
So Guterres
will spend whatever is left of
the public's money given to
the UN to travel again to
Lisbon in June. And how many
more times between now and
then?
Often
these trips are not disclosed.
Inner City Press was banned
from the UN while asking about
just such undisclosed
financial waste and conflicts
of interest, such as with
Guterres' taking money from
Lisbon-based Gulbenkian
Foundation which tried to sell
its oil company to
SDNY-convicted UN briber CEFC
China Energy.
Guteres is entirely corrupt,
and a censor. Those officials
and member states who do
nothing about it are complicit
in the corruption of the UN.
We will have more, much more,
on this.
