UN GATE, May 27 – Antonio Guterres, the UN Secretary General who rarely takes questions and even had the Press which asked him about the mass killings in Cameroon thrown out of the UN, rolled up in three large SUV vehicles to the publicly-funded mansion he usually lives alone in on February 29. Video here, and YouTube and Facebook. The Coronavirus COVID-19 was already spread well beyond Guterres' favorite China, but New York City was not yet locked down.

  Now, both Guterres and Vaz Pinto are scamming amid the COVID-19 crisis, including on money. Guterres' cover up of UN laxity in South Sudan and refusal to answer Press questions about it - and direction to his censors Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming to also not answer, to actively propagandize - we have covered.

  Today we check in on Vaz Pinto, who knows first hand of Guterres' shameful censorship while purporting to be about art and free expression. Not so much.

 In Lisbon, even the fund created for those in the arts is now subject to complaint of favoritism and, if the Guterres aura is any guide, corruption and lack of accountability. Per the Observador: "Film producer Pedro Fernandes Duarte on Tuesday accused the Chamber of Lisbon of disrespect by cultural professionals in the support given to cultural agents, considering “absurd” that it was followed “only a chronological criterion” and not “a qualitative criterion” .   “ This decision, considering only applications submitted in the first 15 days, is obviously a huge disregard for the work of Lisbon's Culture professionals ”, reads a letter from the producer addressed to the Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, and to Councilor for Culture, Catarina Vaz Pinto.  Accusing the services of the local authority of “absolute incompetence” in the administration of the Social Emergency Fund (FES) in the Culture aspect, the film producer also demands “a reopening of the evaluation process and response to the applications to it”.  In a note released this Tuesday on the Lisbon City Council website, the municipality announced that applications for the Culture strand of the Social Emergency Fund of the City of Lisbon, within the scope of Covid-19, submitted after May 5 will no longer be considered, for having reached the total amount of available funds, more than 1.3 million euros.  According to a note posted on the Lisbon City Council website, on Monday the municipality approved support totaling 1.364 million euros, covering more than 1,300 cultural agents, among artists and others, individually or through the supported structures.  This support derives from the “extraordinary regime for the allocation of urgent and immediate financial support to agents and entities” in the Culture sector approved in early April by the Lisbon Chamber, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.   “Exceptionally and given the communication about support to the fado sector having raised some doubts, natural and collective entities with cultural activity in the area of ​​fado will be able to apply for FES Emergência until May 30th”, it was added.  When this support was announced, in mid-April, it was established that applications could be submitted from April 20 and would be received “up to the limit of the available allocation or until June 30, 2020”.  In the missive that he addressed to the Lisbon Chamber, Pedro Fernandes Duarte, who presented in February at the Berlin Film Festival the film “The Metamorphosis of the Birds”, states that he submitted his candidacy for municipal support on May 18, having on Monday fair was informed that only applications submitted until 4 May will be supported, “the Lisbon City Council will not even consider applications submitted later”.  Wonder whose friends are being served.

 Another Guterres / Vaz Pinto scam, not as deadly as Big TOny's in South Sudan and Cameroon, but telling. Soon we will have more on Pedro, regarding which Dujarric and Fleming have been refusing questions (just as on South Sudan and Cameroon). Censorship cannot be allowed to work.

  This time, though, at public expense his fellow "Mansion Socialist" wife Catarina Vaz Pinto was with him, just as she was in September 2019 in expensive seats at the US Open tennis tournament as Guterres - and she? - censored the Press.

   Catarina Vaz Pinto is no longer only Lisbon's Minister of Culture - she is now, somewhat absurdly, the "Minister of International Relations" of the city. In that role she was in Madrid, at an event making light of the spread of Coronavirus which Guterres' pro-China (Chinese bribed) positions are helping spread, while UN Spokesperson Stephan Dujarric and Melissa Fleming refuse all Inner City Press question. All of these people live fancy lives on the public dime while censoring the Press which ask about Cameroon, and Burundi, and Honduras, and The Bronx. They are Mansion Socialists and it appears that Catarina Vaz Pinto is form of Marie Antoinette.

 She has long roots in colonialism, coming from a Portuguese family that helped the military up until Portuguese colonial rule over Goa ended. So, like Guterres on issues like Cameroon, a Colonial Socialist too. And a censor?  The First Lady of Faux Socialism has now directly heard of the censorship, and Cameroon. Video here.  If Guterres is so corrupt he bans Press questions from the UN, for 606 days, then he will continue to face them everywhere else. The question for now, soon to be answered -- will Inner City Press be allowed back in to ask questions? -- is whether Catarina Vaz Pinto is the new Marie Antoinette. Watch this site.

   Back on February 27 inside the New School venue on West 12th Street were censoring "spokesman" Stephane Dujarric, and longtime UN purse-carrier Darrin Farrant. Guterres brought his in-house questions Juju Chang who hogged the time so that only three lame questions were taken. This while Guterres covers up genocide in Cameroon and elsewhere, and UN rapes.

  Complicit in censorship are New School President David Van Zandt  , communicator David Koeppel, and other bigwigs still to be named. Which of them will first speak out, about this corruption by the UN of The New School, which claims "Founded in 1919, The New School was born out of principles of academic freedom, tolerance, and experimentation. Committed to social engagement, The New School today remains in the vanguard of innovation in higher education." Really?

   The New School announced the event, and said "Press inquiries for this event should be sent to communications [at] newschool.edu." Inner City Press, which daily covers the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and biweekly the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as well as the UN as whistleblowers send it evidence of mounting corruption, sexual harrassment and retaliation under Guterres, wrote to the address.

 Nothing. It appears that the state media that Guterres favors in the UN - including Xinhua, an arm of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as dozens of retirees in the UN "press corpse" - can attend at will, as part of Guterres' entourage.

 But isn't The New School part of the United States, covered by the First Amendment?

  Would The New School do this for a Q&A appearance by, for example, Saudi Crown Prince MBS? Or do they just assume, contrary to the facts, that the UN would never single out critical media and get them, contrary to all academic freedom principles, to partner in Guterres' censorship?
