UNPGA Tijjani Muhammad-Bande Uses UN in Nigeria But Nothing on Cameroon Ayuk Tabe Censorship

By Matthew Russell Lee, CJR Letter PFT
BBC - The Times UK - Honduras - The Source

UNITED NATIONS GATE, Nov 23 – Inner City Press has been banned from entering the UN by UNSG Antonio Guterres since 5 July 2018. While Guterres' spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on camera he was answering banned Inner City Press' many questions, he is not. It is a lie, see below, with no answers on Cameroon, Honduras, UN rapes, Guterres' corruption.

Guterres has gone missing spending your money. He is corrupt. And he is not alone at the UN - after four PGAs in a row took bribes, on November 7 this in a seemingly only one a week briefing by Reem Abaza of the OPGA which never answered Inner City Press' written questions: "Tijjani Muhammad-Bande will be traveling to Paris, France on November 10 to attend the Paris Peace Forum." She didn't say who was paying; nor have she or the PGA answered about why Inner City Press is banned from entering to cover the PGA. Now on a craven trip to Nigeria, "Muhammad-Bande noted that the UN system assisted Nigeria in dealing with the regional problem of Boko Haram, even as he expressed delight over the success of the war against insurgency in the country.  In his remarks, Onyeama assured Bande of Nigeria’s support.  “Your vision is one that this country and this governments identifies with and it also correspond to our priorities as a government,” he added." What about the illegal refoulement by their Nigeria of Ayuk Tabe and others to Cameroon? ANd why the most basic, can't the Press enter the UN to ask? We will not rest.

Some recent UNanswered questions:

November 1-1: On Cameroon, what are the belated comments and actions if any of SG Guterres on the US decision to cut trade benefits to Biya's Cameroon citing extrajudicial killings and other number rights abuses?

November 8-1: Now that UN Human Rights' Rupert Colville has said on the record that Mauritania has no law against rape, please immediately explain why the UN has deployed "peacekeepers" from Mauritania to commit sexual abuse of victims in CAR with the only punishment being repatriation to a country without a law against rape? And how this irresponsible deployment by Guterres and Lacroix is not itself a crime? And why, unlike even Ban Ki-moon, Guterres and each of you have refused to even provide the if-asked information about the SEA abuses to Inner City Press you have banned 493 days from the UN?

November 8-2: Now that Michael Bloomberg has moved to run for US President or Democratic Party nomination, why has he not been removed or recused from his UN system post? When will this happen? What are your rules?

November 8-3: On Honduras, on which you have refused to answer Inner City Press' questions about Guterres' 4 person panel sent to the country - no read out - and his meeting with presumptively narco-funded president JOH, now comment on this, from Insight Crime: "Security camera footage [warning: graphic material] of the incident shows what appears to be a pre-meditated ambush. Meza is talking to two prison officials as a hooded guard goes to open a red sliding door. Once open, six inmates storm in, with one immediately firing a pistol at Meza’s head. The drug trafficker collapses as the gun-wielding prisoner keeps firing and the other convicts ward off the guards with blades. Honduran prison authorities initially attributed the murder to an inmate brawl, whereas the government laid the blame on other drug traffickers. Meza’s lawyer, Carlos Chajtur, said he believes the video of the killing suggests a “plot by the penitentiary authorities and maybe higher level authorities."

November 8-4:  Also explain why the UN Human Rights office in Honduras does not answer Press questions or even respond to requests, while spending the public's money.

November 8-5: Again, given the increase about of fraud with which the UN is surrounded / involved in under SG Guterres, now belatedly answer this Inner City Press question now that UN-linked World Sports Alliance Saint Clair has been formally indicted in the SDNY, and belatedly comment on the global implications of the related OneCoin fraud being shown in SDNY trial: "October 24-1: On corruption and the UN, please immediate disclose all UN connections of the "World Sports Alliance" with offices at 845 UN Plaza and a website replete with UN-like symbols whose Asa St Clair was presented last night in SDNY Magistrates Court and detained on wire fraud charges for a fraudulent crypto-currency. Also please now on UN Day response to the use of the UN for a fraudulent coin sale by Carlos Garcia, shown in SDNY to be money launderer for UN bribes.  November 8-6: With UN briber Francis Lorenzo set to be sentenced today, what is the UN's comment on the lack of reform since, current PGA not even disclosing who pays for his trips, and Lorenzo (and UN) crony Carlos Garcia selling fraudulent coins with UN imagery? On deadline.  [Not answered: corrupt]
