UN GATE, July 19
– In the United Nations after
then President of the General
Assembly John Ashe of Antigua
and Barbuda was indicted for
taking bribes, then
mysteriously died under a
barbell awaiting trial, it was
said future PGA would
disclosed who paid for their
trips, and how much.
Now PGA
Volkan Bozkir refuses to do
that, even as he prepares to
travel to Ashe's Antigua on
July 22: "The President of the
75th session of the United
Nations General Assembly, H.E.
Mr. Volkan Bozkır, will travel
to Antigua and Barbuda, Saint
Vincent and the Grenadines,
and Barbados, from 22 to 28
July." No word on who's
funding it.
For the
past trip, they simply name
each government without saying
how much that paid. Nor will
they answer the Press that
asks.
Back in
September 2020 when Bozkir
took over as President of the
General Assembly, Inner City
Press wrote to his
spokesperson Brenden Varma "to
request the password(s) to
access and ask a question at
the September 15 press
conference."
Varma
replied, "This will be my
first hybrid press conference,
and I’m not sure how virtual
access works. Please follow up
with MALU."
MALU, run by Melissa Fleming,
has not answered. So Inner
City Press emailed Varma this
question: Why is there NO
CONTENT on the PGA's "Ethics
and Transparency" page, given
that this was the lone reform
after it was shown that PGA
Ashe took bribes from Ng Lap
Seng, and PGA Kutesa arranged
bribes from CEFC China Energy?
How much did Mr. Bozkir spend
on his campaign for PGA? Who
paid for all travel? Who are
the staff members and who is
paying each one?
The
response? Brenden Varma,
"spokesman" of PGA, blocked
Inner City Press on Twitter.

This is the UN, and Bozkir.
Now on May 4,
after months of failure
including being rebuffed even
by NYC Mayor De Blasio and
running interference for
Antonio Guterres lust for a
second term of bribe taking,
on May 3 Bozkir held a staged
press conference and
afterwards bragged about some
of the coverage. Not so fast.
Bozkir on May 4
said, "I wasn't thinking of
saying this, but you must not
ask these questions
continuously to [my
spokesperson] Brenden Varma."
We call B.S. - his "spokes"
person Varma BLOCKS THE PRESS.
And Bozkir knows it. It is a
charade, a corrupt charade.
And he still hadn't answered
who pays his staff members,
the lone reform to come out of
the John Ashe PGA scandal. So,
Bozkir is worse than Ashe.
Ashe to ashes.
Varma is gone;
now it's Orla Murphy and and former UK UN
Amy Quantrill, who one would
have thought might have known
better. We'll have more on
this.
