On
Western Sahara
Re Frenchified
Extension Faux
Opposed While
UN Morocco
State Media
Gets Nasty
By Matthew

UN GATE, Oct 30
– On
Western
Sahara, Inner
City Press has
repeatedly
asked UN
Secretary General
Antonio
Guterres, his
spokesmen and
now
Communications
chief Melissa
Fleming
about sexual
harassment
charges
against his representative
Colin Stewart,
which it has
exclusively
reported as
credited here
and even here.
Guterres
has refused to
answer, and on
August 30, 2019
denied
Inner City
Press access
to the UNGA week he
let dozens of
Moroccan
state media
into as he and
Fleming
continue
the ban on
Inner City
Press
supported by a
frivolous
complaint filed
against Inner
City Press'
coverage from
the UN
Security
Council
stakeout. On
Sept 16, see
"prayer" video
here.
Now on the eve
of the UN
Security
Council once
again kicking
the can down
the road on
its MINURSO
mission,
this time
going back to
France's preferred
one year extension,
the Morocco
state media
Guterres gives
preference to
over Inner
City Press
trashes a UN
envoy on
the issue
before Guterres
came to
further debase
and now nearly
destroy the
UN: Christopher
Ross.
Ross has taken
a group of his
students from
Princeton to
the region,
and Morocco state
media is
calling it a
propaganda
trip. That's
their view,
and so be
it. But when
Inner City
Press reached
similar
judgements, Guterres
and his Stephane
Dujarric decided
to target it
for ouster.
It's a double
standards, or show
that UN claimed
concerns about
standards
are just a pretext.
Dujarric early
on told Inner
City Press not to
use the
nickname "The
Drone"
for his fellow
Frenchman
Herve Ladsous
or it might
not get its UN
media accreditation
renewed. This
took place in
the park across
from the UN on
47th Street
with Dujarric
using Isabelle
Broyer as
his witness.
It was the
first of his
ever worsening
censorship, as he
serves state
media in his
dying briefing room.
In any
event the fix is in
for a
re-Frenchified
MINURSO
extension,
with South Africa pretending
to stand
strong, leaking
"news"
of its strong
stand to
another
in-house media. While
Uganda
under Museveni
and the
outgoing Kutesa pere
took UN
bribes from
CEFC China
Energy
personal
financial
links with
this Guterres
continues to
try to conceal, its now
Minister
Rugunda
actually stood
up for Western
Sahara,
delaying a
Security
Council
retreat at the
MINURSO voting
deadline.
That's
what passed
for UN principle.
Now that's dead -
Guterres and
Dujarric impose
their colonial
sleaze through
censorship,
and South
Africa goes
through the
motions to
pretend to
stand strong,
while going
along with
Guterres' censorship.
The UN is
dying, or
dead. #DumpGuterresToSaveTheUN.
Guterres
hates live
streaming -
he banned
Inner City
Press from streaming
his craven
grip and
grins, before
having Inner
City Press
roughed up
and banned now
342 days. As
Guterres'
retaliatory
ban
on Inner City
Press even
entering the
UN, now in its
300th
day and based
on a frivolous
Morocco
Mission
complaint,
the UN
Security
Council passed,
only 13-0-2, an
extension of
MINURSO's
mandate for
six months. Banned
Inner City
Press is
putting the
resolution
online here,
and notes that
under Guterres
the UN has yet
to solve
anything,
while making
most conflicts
worse. Before
the
December 19 UN
noon briefing
Inner
City Press in
writing asked
Guterres, his
Spokesman Stephane
Dujarric and
Global
Communicator
Alison Smale
who promised
answers, questions
including
this:
"December
19-3: On
Western
Sahara,
confirm SG
receipt of and
state his
response to
letter of
Polisario
urging him to
clear “mines
that threaten
the lives of
Saharwis” and
that on
Friday,
December the
14th, two
mines caused
the “death of
a Sahrawi man
and serious
injuries to
others”?
Dujarric
didn't read
out the
question the
way for
example even
the IMF does
with Inner
City Press'
questions; he
entertained
questions
from
pro-Morocco
scribes to
which he and
Guterres
and Smale give
UN office space
even if they
write no
articles. Today's UN
is corrupt.
