On
Western Sahara
UN Was Told Of
Violations By
Morocco
Guterres Did
Nothing Now

UN GATE, Nov 14
– On
Western
Sahara, Inner
City Press has
repeatedly
asked UN
Secretary General
Antonio
Guterres, his
spokesmen and
now
Communications
chief Melissa
Fleming
about sexual
harassment
charges
against his representative
Colin Stewart,
which it has
exclusively
reported as
credited here
and even here.
Guterres has
repeatedly
refused to
answer, and denied
Inner City
Press access
to the UN he
lets dozens of
Moroccan
state media
into as he and
Fleming
continue
the ban on
Inner City
Press
supported by a
frivolous
complaint filed
against Inner
City Press'
coverage from
the UN
Security
Council
stakeout.
Now
POLISARIO says
"Moroccan
occupying
forces began
last night to
move a large
number of
gendarmes and
other security
forces in the
region. This
will also mean
the end of the
ceasefire
agreement and
will start a
new war
throughout the
region." Now Morocco
announces
that its
troops have
launched an
operation
Polisario says
that it would
regard a
three-decade-old
ceasefire with
Morocco as
over if Rabat
moved troops
or civilians
into the
buffer zone."
Inner
City Press in
writing asked
abou this. Without
responding -
in fact,
deputy spokeman
Farhan Haq simply deleted or
"left" the question
on WhatsApp -
Dujarric read
out a
vague
statement,
video here.
But
Guterres is
lying - as on
Cameroon, he
is not only not
standing up
for the
underdog, he
is supporting
the overdog.
So Inner City
Press, banned
for 865th day
by Guterres,
publishes
this: "The
Ministry of
Foreign
Affairs of the
Moroccan
Occupation is
falsifying
facts to cover
Morocco's
unilateral
decision to
persist in
violating the
ceasefire when
its forces in
the Guerguerat
region
crossed, this
morning,
Friday,
November
13th ,
the Berm that
forms the
separating
line between
the invading
Moroccan
forces and the
Sahrawi Army.
The Moroccan
invading
forces
gathered
several days
ago in blatant
violation of
Military
Agreement
No:1. The UN
Mission for
the Referendum
in Western
Sahara
(MINURSO) did
not stop them
from so doing
under the
pretext that
it wanted to
open the
illegal breach
that peaceful
demonstrators
from the
Sahrawi civil
society closed
in protest
against the
silence of the
UN mission
about
Morocco's
continuing
attempts to
evade its
commitments
signed with
the Sahrawi
party under
the auspices
of the United
Nations and
the
Organisation
of African
Unity/African
Union after 16
years of war
and six years
of
negotiations
that resulted
in the peace
agreement in
1991.
Therefore, the
Saharawi party
would like to
clarify the
following: 1-
The
International
Community
(Organizations
and Courts)
does not
recognize to
Morocco any
sovereignty
over Western
Sahara. 2- The
only mission
for which
MINURSO was
created is the
organization
of a
referendum on
self-determination.
3- The
Cease-fire was
accepted by
the Saharawi
party in
counterpart of
the acceptance
by Morocco of
the referendum
on
self-determination.
4- The
cease-fire is
completely
linked to the
organization
of the
referendum on
self-
determination
because they
represent the
basic
foundations on
which
the
Settlement
Plan of 1991
was built.
Therefore, the
referendum on
self-
determination
cannot be
canceled
without the
automatic
annulment of
the cease-
fire. 5-
The language
used by the
Moroccan
occupier and
its positions
are all based
on fallacies
and
falsifications,
it is thus
necessary to
recall the
following
facts: A-
Morocco acts
and speaks as
if Western
Sahara is part
of its
national
territory, and
this is a
clear
falsehood
well-know to
the
international
community. B-
The nature of
the Moroccan
presence in
the territory
of the
Saharawi
Republic
classified by
the United
Nations
General
Assembly as an
illegal
occupation
(General
Assembly
Resolutions
34/37 of 1979
and 19/35 of
1980) in
addition to
the opinions
of the
International
Court of
Justice of
1975 and the
European Court
of Justice of
2016 and 2018
and the legal
opinions of
the United
Nations in
2002 and the
African Union
in 2015.

MINISTERIO DE

C- Moroccan
Ministry of
Foreign
Affairs,
boldly, abuses
the Secretary-
General of the
United Nations
and says in an
official
statement that
the
Frente
Polisario has
rejected his
mediation,
which is
completely
false. It also
did the same
when it
mentioned that
the
Mauritanian
Minister of
Foreign
Affairs
mediated
between the
two parties,
and this is
also
unfounded. D-
The continued
occupation of
important
parts of the
Saharawi
Republic by
Morocco is
explained by
the apparent
complicity
within the
Security
Council with
the occupier.
It is this
disgraceful
complicity
that violates
the
international
legality, and
tries during
the two past
years to twist
the legal
nature of the
Sahrawi cause
as a case of
decolonization
that can only
be resolved
through the
exercise by
the Sahrawi
people of
their
inalienable
right to
self-determination
and
independence.
E- The
inaction of
the United
Nations as a
result of
obstruction
from within
the Security
Council
prevented
MINURSO from
carrying out
the mission
for which it
was
established.
F- Twenty-nine
years of
waiting for
the referendum
caused the
Sahrawi people
to lose
confidence in
the United
Nations and
its mission
and
unanimously
agree on the
need for
Morocco to
abide by the
requirements
of the
agreement
concluded
between the
two parties or
to continue
the liberation
by all
legitimate
means. G-
Morocco's
implication of
foreign states
and interests
added to the
policies of
occupation and
the fait
accompli, the
brutal
repression of
the Sahrawi
people, which
is documented
by the
majority of
human rights
organizations,
the plunder of
natural
resources
without the
slightest
response from
the United
Nations and
its mission,
encouraged the
latter to turn
into a
guardian of
the rejected
fait accompli
more than been
a UN mission
formed to
decolonize
Western
Sahara, the
last colony in
Africa. The
Frente
Polisario and
the government
of the SADR
are sending an
urgent appeal
to the United
Nations, the
African Union,
and all
countries and
all peoples
devoted to
justice,
equality and
peace to
support the
Sahrawi people
in the face of
the brutal
Moroccan
aggression
that does not
respect its
obligations
and violates
all common
human
principles and
values."

And for
Guterres
and St Vincent
and the Grenadines,
president of
the UNSC for
November?
Nothing.
Guterres,
of
course, is
corrupt. September's
UNSC President
Niger is
cravenly
holding special
events on
Francophonie /
Francophony.
Change is
needed - #DumpGuterres.
That
state media
lie is obvious
- but Guterres'
role in
orchestrating
colonial
lies, from
Western Sahara to Cameroon,
and censoring
and banning independent
Press and
refusing its
questions, is
decisive. Here
are just some
of the Morocco
state media
Guterres and
Melissa
Fleming let
in, and Steph
Dujarric
answers, from

incredible)
There

there will be
more. Guterres
should be
fired.
