Nov 22 – The day before the
Epstein files vote in
Congress, Inner City Press'
main X account was hacked.
Immediate complaints to X were
met a minute later with an
Orwellian response by email:
We have investigated and found
that you have control of that
account.
But that was not
true.
I
could now see innercitypress,
but not post anything on it.
Nor could I stop anything from
being deleted.
I watched
as someone commented that the
US v. Ghislaine Maxwell trial,
as live tweeted on
innercitypress, showed the
cover-up.
As evidence they
added a link to my tweet of
the time, from the Maxwell
trial.
Only now
it said, "This Post is
unavailable."
Why? Made
unavailable by whom?
It was suggested
to me that X's liaison to
journalists, formerly of tbh
and gas, who had recently
posted that journalists should
remain on X or come back from
Threads and Bluesky, was named
Nikita Bier.
I found
where he had said that. I sent
him email, and also from my
smaller personal account
tweeted at him. I included him
briefly in an article on Inner
City Press dot com, that went
into Google News.
But
no response from Nikita Bier,
even as he launched a feature
to identify what countries
each poster was in, dissident
or not. I wrote to the
parent xAI, which directed me
back to the X "help" form.
Filling in
the X form again, I got an
email back that innercitypress
could be returned to me if I
provided another email
address. I did. Still nothing,
a day later. Another response
that I still had control of
innercitypress. I did
not.
It was
suggested to me that if I
signed my personal account up
for X Premium, at $8 a month,
I could get through to their
Premium help desk and get my
problem resolved
. I did and was
told that I still could not DM
with @Support, that I should
"reach out" to @Premium if
eligible. I tweeted at
it, and at @NikitaBier.
Nothing.
I
DMed @Premium and it went
through. The response, very
fast, was explicitly from
Grok. It told me to... enter
my information through the X
form, which I had already done
ten times.
I told Grok
that, twice, and it replied
that "I've just forwarded this
to a specialist on our support
team. Your reference number is
[ ]. Since it's in their hands
now, I won't be able to
respond to you, but you'll
receive a DM notification as
soon as possible."
That
was 12 hours ago. More
Ghislaine Maxwell material
being made "unavailable"? My
reporting on the Jeffrey
Epstein links of UN Antonio
Guterres, JPM Chase, Bank of
America?
