HSBC Settled Lawsuit For
Charging NSF Fees Repeatedly Now

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 3 – HSBC was sued for
charging its customers
multiple NSF fees for the same
item, driving their account
balances deeper into negative
territory. HSBC settled.
On October
20, 2022, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
It provides
$1,975,000 with $658,333.33 in
attorneys' fees.
Now in
June 2024, HSBC misdeeds
continue all over, including
in India: HSBC Employee
Accuses Colleague Of Ethnic
Humiliation... According to
the employee who wrote the
letter, this incident came to
pass on April 22, 2024. And
the alleged incident came to
pass during lunch time. She
gives details of her ordeal by
saying, "The exact remarks
which was used by him is 'Ek
chamaat maarenge, Bihar pahuch
jaegi'. She was intimated with
a physical threat and was
ethnically abused in the
process.
