On September 30,
Combs' lawyers filed a notice
of appeal of detention to the
2d Circuit.
On October 3,
Combs' SDNY criminal case was
re-assigned: "Case as to Sean
Combs REASSIGNED to Judge Arun
Subramanian. Judge Andrew L.
Carter, Jr no longer assigned
to the case."
On October 9
after 5 pm, Combs' lawyer
submitted a request for "a gag
order prohibiting government
personnel from disclosing any
evidence or investigative
material related to this case
to any member of the media."

On October 10,

- trial was set for May 5,
2025 and Judge Subramanian
told the parties to draft an

On mid October a
slew of cases were filed in
SDNY by the Tony Buzbee Firm,
including one by a
then-Brooklyn college student
for sexual assault, including
against Marriott for its
alleged role. Complaint on

On October 15,
the assigned District Judge
Jennifer H. Rearden ruled that
as complaint by pseudonym it
had to be filed as a
miscellaneous case, citing ECF
Rule 6/14(b) - and dismissed
the case.
On October 16,
the same facts were re-filed
as a miscellaneous case. Will
it be wheeled out again?
