corrupt is the UN system under
Antonio Guterres? Today after
having sent the below to the
UN Spokesperson and 38
others in the UN
system for comment or correction
and receiving none, we
turn once again to UNIDO - and
note on January 14,
2026 that whistleblowers
have sent the below
to the mission of Germany,
Austria, Spain and the
EU.
"Dear Matthew
Lee, Once again, the Director
General of UNIDO has appointed
a close associate to a key
position. Mr. Moussa Ndiaye, a
long-time friend of the DG,
has been hired as a legal
advisor and now serves as the
Gerd Mueller's personal aide.
He holds a P3-level post,
accompanies the DG on all
official trips, and receives
an additional daily allowance
of USD 400 on top of his net
base salary of €7,500.
The DG Mueller
claims that Moussa Ndiaye
holds two law licenses—one for
Germany and one for France.
However--
Despite the UN
spokesperson not responding in
any way to questions on this,
we now note an email received,
nor from any UNIDO or UN
domain but rather Gmail,
stating that "Publications
during my time as lawyer
demonstrate that I do hold
two bar admissions (please
consult the following link:
https://rdb.manz.at/document/rdb.tso.LIcb2021070205)."
That
link is stopped by a
paywall, but we put it up
here. Whoever it is
behind the Gmail address
making legal threats -
ostensibly from the UN which
itself claims
immunity, for example for
killing 10,000 in Haiti - we
suggest they have the UN
Spokesperson, who promised
on camera to answer Inner
City Press' written
questions, send whatever
response there is to
the UNIDO whistleblowers.
In today's UN system, whisteblowers
run scared of retaliation.
Spokespeople do not answer,
then legal threats are
made against subsequent
publication. This is were
things stand.
Keep it coming.
