SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 26 – A
multi-defendant marijuana trafficking and money laundering
case in federal court in Nebraska has an unexpected
intervenor: Gerald Casale, co-founder of the New Wave rock
band DEVO.
DOJ is seeking to seize two of Casale's
California properties and over half a million dollars in
two City National Bank accounts.
Casale has filed saying there should be no
forfeiture, that it was his financial adviser who blurred
the line with the defendants who were, initially,
performers in his DEVO-branded video game.
Are we not men?
Inner City Press will continue to follow the
case(s).
