After SBF 25 Years Salame 90 Months Sassoon Said No Bond Deal So March 4 on Parlovecchio

by Matthew Russell Lee

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Dec 12 – On the US v Sam Bankman-Fried trial, hours after the guilty verdict, a book was published: "Crypto Criminal: The Conviction of Sam Bankman-Fried: As live tweeted and investigated from inside the SDNY courthouse by Matthew Russell Lee," audio/book here.

On March 28, 2024, Inner City Press live tweeted his sentencing, to 25 years.

On May 28 Salame was "sentenced to 90 months."

On August 21, Salame filed that "the Government used the plea negotiations to threaten Salame’s domestic partner and the mother of his child, Michelle Bond." Full filing on Patreon here.

But then, after Bond's lawyer Eric Breslin of Duane Morris said no more Sassoon, the US Attorney's Office on Nov 10 wrote in, "The parties have conferred and agree that the Government may call former U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon as a witness on November 20 at 10 a.m." On November 10 it emerged Sassoon is going to work at Clement & Murphy on criminal and appellate matters and complex litigation.

Later on November 10, Bond's lawyers at Duane Morris sent in an absurdly redacted letter: "We are the attorneys for Michelle Bond. We need to state at the outset that we wish [REDACTED] However, we would be remiss in our duty to Ms. Bond ... [REDACTED] -

On November 12, Judge Daniels ordered that Sassoon "is scheduled for November 20, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. This Court intends to hear from witnesses Danielle Sassoon and Gina Parlavecchio. If Parlavecchio is unable to appear on November 20, 2025, she should appear to testify on December 18, 2025.

On November 20 Inner City Press live "skeeted" on Bluesky here (it remains blocked from its main X account, having inquired with "chief of product" Nikita Bier) - Sassoon said she had made it clear, no deal beyond the four corners.

On December 9 counsel to Bond Eric Breslin wrote in asking to push it back to March 2026 so that Parlovecchio can testify.

On December 12 Judge Daniels set the hearing for March 4 at 10 am.
