The unsealing thread
Unsealed in state
court on December 19 was an
indictment and statement of
facts against Adams' adviser
Ingrid Lewis-Martin:
"Defendant Ingrid Lewis-Martin
(“LEWIS-MARTIN”) engaged in a
longrunning bribery, money
laundering, and conspiracy
scheme by using her position
and authority as the Chief
Advisor to the New York City
Mayor to illegally influence
city decisions in exchange for
over $100,000 in cash and
other benefits for herself and
her son, defendant Glenn
Martin II aka Suave aka Suave
Luciano." Inner City Press is
covering that case too.
On November 11
Adams' lawyer at Quinn Emanuel
wrote in asking to move up the
Federal trial from April 21 to
April 1 - April Fools Day.

On December 18,
the US Attorney's Office wrote
in: "Should the conference be
held, the Government
anticipates raising an issue
relating to extrajudicial
statements that defense
counsel has made relating to
the case. See S.D.N.Y. L.
Crim. R. 23.1. The Government
may also file a letter on this
subject in advance of the
conference."
But it was Adams'
lawyer who filed, near
midnight on December 18, for a
motion for a bill of
particulars about the Turkish
