A young man charged with
shooting a gun four times at
three men on a scooter on West
125th Street came before
Justice Ann Scherzer on
October 9 in 100 Centre
Street. Inner City Press was
there.
The defense
lawyer several times referred
to his client by the wrong
name, while pointing out that
his father was in the
gallery. He
should be there, Justice
Scherzer said, supporting his
family member.
But it was not
enough for him to be released,
at least on October 9. In
fact, she raised the listed
bail on a second charge from
$1 to $15,000.
He is also
charged with robbing a food
delivery worker of $100 and
the food.
