Jan 22 – A man is on trial for
a murder committed on 152nd
Street near St. Nicholas
Avenue in Harlem on March 7,
2023, before NYS Justice
Gregory Carro, whom Inner City
Press has previously covered
in the Luigi Mangione case he
also presides over.
For this
trial, his large courtroom was
nearly empty. Inner City Press

Garcia: I
did. [The murder occurred on
March 7, 2023 - defendant was
arrested on Sept 5, 2023].

Garcia: We try to
conduct a daylight canvas. We
look for bullets. The incident
presumably had happened in the
evening.

video? Garcia: No, it wasn't
operable. So we got other
videos.
Garcia: We got
video from 847 St. Nicholas
Avenue ADA: Was it continuous
or motion sensor triggered?
Garcia:

the suspect was - but you
tracked a person? Garcia: Yes

camera was turned off what did
you do?
Morales: We
canvassed the train station on
155 and St. Nick.
Cross: Defense:
There was a shell casing on
the bed? Morales: Yes.

female you spoke with in the
building, she said she had
only been in that apartment
twice? Morales: Correct.
