ST,
March 10 – Following the death
of a "two foot tall pediatric
male" in the Baruch Place
shelter run by the Henry
Street Settlement in the
summer of 2021, now in 2026 a
defendant is on trial.
The case is
presided over by Justice Juan

similar role in the case
against Donald Trump. Inner

Justice Merchan:
People, call your witness.
[Witness worked at 130 Baruch
Place]
ADA: What
happened that day?
Witness: A man
carried a dangling child to
me. I called 9-1-1
ADA: People's
Exhibit 6, only for the
witness... Now play the audio.
[911 call]. And the video [of
office, as EMTs arrive]
Next witness is
Mt. Sinai Paramedic Dennis
Chen- sitting in the
witness chair where Michael
Cohen, Stormy Daniels and
Hope Hicks sat
ADA: Where was
your ambulance parked while
waiting? Chen: By Katz' Deli.
We drove to Baruch Place with
lights and sirens. The staff
was behind glass. My patient
is lying on the bench
ADA: Who was your
patient?
Chen: A pediatric
male, unresponsive, discolored
ADA: What
was the pediatric male's
height? Chen: Two feet tall.
We called firefighters for a
cardiac arrest, an FDNY
supervisor. We gave BLS
life support. I had a lot of
anxiety. Patient was not
breathing. No belly movement.
No chest rise
The trial
continues - tragically... 66
