Man Who Fled Police in Red Honda With Gun Pled Guilty as Felon in Possession so June 30

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 3 – A man who fled police when stopped in a red Honda with tinted windows and a paper temporary license only to be charged as a felon in possession of a firearm pled guilty on March 20 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katherine Vernon S. Broderick. Inner City Press is covering the case.

He had previously been convicted on narcotics charges in SDNY in 2015. Now he was found with a purple, SCCY pistol. The complaint had stills from body-cam video.

Sentencing is set for June 30.

The case is USA v. Ramirez, 1:22-cr-504 (Broderick)
