Man Charged With Selling Guns in Chinatown After Cases in Carolinas Has Nov 3 SDNY Trial

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 10 – A man charged with selling guns in Manhattan's Chinatown was arraigned on February 10 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil. Inner City Press was there.

The original complaint described a sale with messages about "meet me at the China bus" and "my ride not tryna go to china town" - then the sale of KelTel and Smith and Wesson firearms.

Judge Vyskocil set a trial date - November 3 - and a motion schedule. The defendant has previous convictions in both Carolinas.

The case is USA v. Bowens, 1:26-cr-35 (Vyskocil)
