COURTHOUSE,
July 24 – Jerry Walton has
been indicted and charged with
robbing a bank at 1107
Broadway in Manhattan on
August 21, 2023.
On July 24, 2024 he appeared
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Jennifer H.
Rearden. Inner City Press was
that, the only media in the
courtroom.
Walton has
a white shoe lawyer, CJA, who
said candidly she cannot
guaranty that any defense
motions will be filed, while a
final set of records being
sought, if they
exist.
In the
Complaint is the noted passed
to the teller: "Give me all
the $100 and $50 in your draw.
No die [sic] packs. I will
pull my gun out and start
shutting. Do play. Do it
now."
If defense
motions are filed, they are
due on September 13, with
Speedy Trial Act time excluded
through October 11.
The case
is US v. Walton, 24-cr-50
