SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 2 – Jeffrey Thompson
is charged with being a felon
in possession of a firearm, to
wit, a .22 caliber Phoenix
Arms pistol.
On May 27, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J. Liman
held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Liman
inquired into the case, any
police methods.
A Nissan Altima
sedan was pulled over in the
Bronx on November 25, 2020.
After smelling
marijuana, the AUSA said, the
officers searched the car and
found the gun.
Jump cut to
January 2, 2026 when
Thompson's Federal Defender
wrote in for his January 6
VOSR, asking for time served
and blaming it on an abusive
relationship, redacted.
The case is US v.
Thompson, 21-cr-339 (Liman)
