SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 27 –
J.P. Morgan
Chase and
Deutsche Bank
were sued for
their enabling
of Jeffrey
Epstein, in
lawsuits filed
on
Thanksgiving
2022 in the
U.S. District
Court for the
Southern
District of
New York,
where Inner
City Press
found them in
the docket.
The
JPM Chase
complaint is

Judge
Rakoff signed
off an another
letter
rogatory to
Barclays Bank,
for its
communications
with the UK
Financial
Conduct
Authority
about Jes Staley
and his relationship
with Jeffrey
Epstein
including,
reportedly, 1200
emails between
the two.
On November
29, the Doe
v. bank(s)
cases were
assigned to SDNY
Judge Jed S.
Rakoff, as
"related" to a
previous case
against Deutsche
Bank he has.
Both had
a proceeding that
Inner City
Press covered.
In the
courtroom along
with David
Boies, Bradley
Edwards,
Sigrid
McCawley et al
was former
SDNY
prosecutor Robert
Boone (Inner
City Press
covered him in
the Michael
Avenatti -
Stormy Daniels
criminal
case), now representing
JPMorgan
Chase.

On October 15,
2025, amid a push in
Congress to
fully release
the so-called
Epstein files,
similar
lawsuits were
filed in SDNY
against Bank
of America and
The Bank of
New York
Mellon
Corporation,
1:25-cv-8525
(Unassigned)
On October
27 assigned
District Judge
Jed S. Rakoff
set a trial
date: "Minute
Entry for
proceedings
held before
Judge Jed S.
Rakoff: The
Court
consolidates
this case with
25civ 8525,
Doe v Bank of
NY Mellon for
all pretrial
purposes. Oral
Argument on a
Motion to
Dismiss set
for 12/15/2025
at 4:00 PM
before Judge
Jed S. Rakoff.
Argument on
Class
Certification
set for
2/13/2026 at
2:00pm. Final
Pretrial
Conference set
for 4/7/2026
at 02:00 PM
before Judge
Jed S. Rakoff.
Jury Trial set
for 5/11/2026
at 09:30 AM."
It is Doe v.
Bank of America,
1:25-cv-8520 (Rakoff)
Meanwhile,
the UN has yet to
answer Inner
City Press on
why SG Antonio
Guterres maintained a
rep on the
board of
Ghislaine
Maxwell's
Terramar
Project (instead
bannign the
Press); Norway
won't answer
on its Ambasador
Mona Juul and
Terje Roed Larsen
taking $130,000
personal loan
from Epstein.
Tellingly,
Amazon KFP,
followed by Audible,
took down all
of Inner City
Press' trial books
on October 24
saying they
found the Ghislaine
Maxwell book
from late 2021
"offensive."
Story here.
We'll have
more on this.
The
JPMC case is
