and Murder Overseas

COURTHOUSE,
March 28 –
A man charged with conspiracy
to commit kidnapping and
murder in a foreign country
was presented late on Friday,
March 28 before U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Valerie
Figueredo. Inner City Press
was there, the only media in
the SDNY Mag
Court.
The defendant was
brought in by US Marshals. He
confirmed to Judge Figueredo
that he did not need any
interpreter.
His Federal
Defender said he consented to
detention, before appearing
before the assigned District
Judge, John P. Cronan, on
April 1.
The case is
USA v. Duravic, 1:25-cr-122
