Charged With Selling a Glock By JFK Casino Perez Is Indicted and Pleads Not Guilty Detained

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 23 – For selling a Glock .40 caliber pistol to a Confidential Source in the parking lot of the casino near JFK airport in New York City, a defendant was arraigned on July 23 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Valerie Figueredo. Inner City Press was there, the only media in the SDNY Mag court.

The complaint described, after the sale, an unmarked law enforcement vehicle attempting to block get-away, resulting in a crash requiring medical attention for law enforcement agents.

Despite post-arrest statements, a plea of not guilty was entered with a conference set before the assigned District Judge on July 29 at noon.

The case is US v. Perez, 24-cr-428 (Engelmayer / Figueredo)
