COURTHOUSE,
April 16 – A man charged with
selling ghost guns - 3D
plastic gun frames - on Etsy
is up for sentencing on April
17. His lawyer, arguing
that his client "is not a gun
enthusiast," is arguing for
time served, one year home
detention.
The
complaint had a screenshot of
the defendant's Etsy shop,
with photos of guns / frames,
and "Add to cart."
The US
Attorney's Office wrote in and
asked for the five year
guideline as the sentence.
The
sentencing is by U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams, whose
proceedings Inner City Press
often covers.
The case is USA
v. McGrail Reynolds,
1:25-cr-135 (Abrams)
