SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Aug 31 – A six-defendant gun
trafficking case on August 31
grew to eight defendants. Two
more were added in the U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrates Court. Inner City
Press was there, the only
media in the SDNY Mag
Court.
The
original complaint in the case
describes the sale of guns
from South Carolina in The
Bronx. The case was wheeled
about to District Judge
Katherine Polk Failla, and has
a pre-scheduled status
conference set for September
23.
Of the two new
defendants, one was in red and
black checkered pants and top
on Monday. He is required to
come up with two co-signers on
his $50,000 bond before being
released.
The other
was released on Monday on
$75,000 bond, to come up with
co-signers later.
The
overall case is USA v.
Respress, et al., 1:26-cr-252
