SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 30 – Sun Yeul Hong sued
Mommy's Jamaican Market Corp.
- and won, including an order
for $10,890.90 to plaintiff's
counsel Ryu & Ryu.
On May 26,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman had ordered the
attorney's fees to be paid by
July 11. But on May 26, he
agreed to extended the time to
August 12.
The case
continues, thought. On
December 30, 2022, four
transcripts went into the
record, with many redactions
but left it: the cutting up of
yams, the changing of color.
The case is Hong
v. Mommy's Jamaican Market
Corp. et al., 20-cv-9612
(Liman)
