Cheng Sues Clinic For Gender Selection Fraud Now Fact Discovery Extended To March 31

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 26– Juan Cheng sued New Hope Fertility Clinic for fraudulently offering gender selection treatment services and in vitro fertilization services. 

 On January 20, 2023 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Stuart D. Aaron held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

  The request was to extend discovery. Judge Aaron directed that any defendant that had not yet done so serve upon plaintiff complete verified responses to interrogatories - otherwise, sanctions will be imposed.

Fact discovery must close by March 31, and expert discovery by May 31.

The case is Cheng et al v. Zhang Medical P.C. et al., 21-cv-6682 (Koeltl / Aaron)
