Man Who Served 15 Years for Murder for Hire Caught Farebeating with Gun Wants 20 Months

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 5 – A man previously sentenced to 180 months in prison for murder for hire, who cooperated in that prosecution, now faces sentencing as a felon in possession of a firearm on August 13 before Judge Jennifer H. Rearden of the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York, which Inner City Press closely covers.

He was stopped for fare beating in the 149th Street and Third Avenue subway stop, and found to have a loaded gun. His sentencing memo says it was to protect himself from the organization he cooperated against.

He is requesting 20 months imprisonment.

The case is USA v. Wilson, 26-cr-152 (Rearden)
