The Postal
Service Office of the
Inspector General surveilled
and detained the defendant,
Fausto Lucas. After being read
his Miranda rights, he spoke
and admitted stealing money
orders and marijuana.
The prosecutors
sought multiple adjournments
in the case, but finally
indicted it. Lucas pled not
guilty on February 13, and
remained out on bond.
The case is US v.
Lucas , 23-cr-83 (Seibel /
Krause)
