Giuliani Fights Giving FLA Condo to Receiver Saying He Was There 39% of Time

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 27 – In Ruby Freeman's and Wandrea' Moss' ongoing attempt to collect from Rudy Giuliani, a proceeding was held on September 27 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman. Inner City Press was there; thread

Caruso: Can I have 3 more days?

Judge: No. Judge: Your client owes money. This should move quickly. Adjourned

And on October 8, a motion to intervene by Andrew Giuliani: "Amongst that property are '3 Yankee World Series Rings.' However, the Mayor gifted those World Series rings to his son, Andrew, in 2018. An order requiring transfer of these rings to Plaintiffs would permanently deprive Andrew of his ownership in them. He thus seeks permission to intervene." Full filing on Patreon here.

On October 22 Judge Liman wrote that Giuliani is "ordered under C.P.L.R. 5225 to transfer all personal property specified in the list below at pp. 16-18" - full list on Patreon here.

On October 25 counsel for the plaintiffs wrote to Judge Liman that "the Palm Beach Condo should be included among the property subject to the Receivership Order."

On Sunday October 27, Giuliani's lawyer filed opposition, noting that "between February 8, 2024, and August 8, 2024, Defendant was in Palm Beach for the plurality of the time (71 days, approximately 39% of the time period). He spent an additional 64 days outside of Florida (and outside New York) for reasons of health, leisure and/or business." Letter on Patreon here
