As Giuliani Fights Giving FLA Condo to Plaintiffs His Bid for NY Coop Escrow Denied

And on October 8, a motion to intervene by Andrew Giuliani: "Amongst that property are '3 Yankee World Series Rings.' However, the Mayor gifted those World Series rings to his son." Filing on Patreon here.

On October 22 Judge Liman wrote that Giuliani is "ordered under C.P.L.R. 5225 to transfer all personal property specified in the list below at pp. 16-18" - full list on Patreon here

On November 6, Giuliani's lawyer wrote in that "Plaintiffs contend that the apartment was “substantially empty[]” when they arrived last week. ECF 81 at 1. Full letter on Patreon here

On November 13, after an order, they docketed that they "respectfully request that the Court grant this motion to withdraw and enter an order relieving Kenneth Caruso Law LLC and Labkowski Law, P.A. as counsel for Defendant" - with the substance redacted, letter on Patreon here

On November 18, Giuliani's new lawyers filed with Judge Liman requesting an order that "With respect to 45 E. 66th Street, Apt. 10W, New York, NY 10065 (the “New York Cooperative Apartment”), upon the sale of the New York Cooperative Apartment, Plaintiffs-Receivers are hereby ordered to hold, in an escrow account the sum of $204,825, pending further order of the Court, sufficient to satisfy the New York homestead exemption."

On November 19, Judge Liman denied it on procedural grounds - for not following the (local) rules: "The Court denies Defendant’s letter-motion at Dkt. No. 123 to modify the Turnover Order issued by the Court on October 22, 2024, see Dkt. No. 62, as modified by the order of November 8, 2024, see Dkt. No. 9, for failure to comply with Local Rules 6.1 and 7.1 of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Rules 6.1 and 7.1, and this Court’s Individual Practices." - Order on Patreon here.
