On mid October a slew of cases were filed in SDNY by the Tony Buzbee Firm, including one by a woman who states that she was sexually assaulted by Combs in 1991 at a charity event he co-sponsored. She / the Buzbee Firm filed as Jane Doe, then moved for anonymity.

On March 27, 2025 the request was denied: "Motion for Leave to Appear Anonymously . filed by Jane Doe.For the foregoing reasons, the Court DENIES Plaintiffs motion to proceed anonymously. Plaintiff shall file a complaint in her own name no later than April 10, 2025. (Signed by Judge Jennifer L. Rochon on 3/27/2025)

Among the reasons: "Plaintiff’s Allegations Regarding the Risk of Harm Are Speculative and Insufficiently Particularized"- 13 page ruling / reasoning on Patreon here
