SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Oct 25 – With Sean Combs in
jail in MDC-Brooklyn, on
October 20 at least five more
civil cases against him were
filed in the U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York. Inner
City Press is covering the
cases.
One of them
is by a John Doe who states
that while working for MASS
Security at a Combs white
party in East Hampton in 2006
he was drugged, Combs pushed
him into a van and raped him.
The case was
assigned to Judge Naomi Reice
Buchwald - who on October 25
ordered "that plaintiff shall
file a renewed motion to
proceed anonymously not later
than 30 days after service of
the Complaint, in order to
provide defendants with an
opportunity to respond to the
motion. If plaintiff fails to
timely file this motion, the
Court shall order the
disclosure of his identity.
(Signed by Judge Naomi Reice
Buchwald on 10/25/24)"
She did not -
yet? - follow Judge Jesse M.
Furman who ordered, "to ensure
that the Court has no
conflicts that would require
recusal, Plaintiff shall
promptly file, under seal, a
declaration disclosing his
identity (and the identity of
any other party that is not
named in the Complaint) to the
Court." Celebrity A…
Note: This logic
would apply to all of the John
and Jane Does, in the other
cases...
This case
is John Doe v. Combs, et al.,
1:24-cv-7776 (Buchwald)
