The defendant
Nadim Ahmed had in the gallery
his son and wife, looking
unhappy. His charges were
quickly read, and the
complaint was still sealed. He
was released on $2 million
bond. He had been arrested at
his home in Old Westbury, New
York and presumably returned
there.
The
complaint describes a scheme
to "develop a fleet of taxis
in NYC" and get immigration
status.
The case is US v.
Ahmed, 23-mj-563 (Cave)
