EXCLUSIVE, Jan 23 - In
the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York, an arraignment was held
by Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave on a man charged with
pretending to be a billionaire
to defraud a business.

The defendant
Russell Dwayne Lewis arrived
late in Mag Court, as
apparently the wrong Lewis was
identified by the New Jersey
jail he's been in since his
detention on November 23. That
was under a complaint; now
there's an information.
The
complaint described a victim
who believed Lewis was worth
$18 billion "and Lewis did not
deny or correct the
statement." He also "purported
to be able to provide
astrology readings" and to
have "friends in the LAPD."
Lewis
waived indictment and pled not
guilty. Speedy Trial Act time
was excluded until February 8.
