Oct 11 – Arlene "A.J." Delgado
sued the Trump campaign after
she did not receive the West
Wing job she said she was
promised (but Jason Miller
got).
On August 16, 2022 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held an in-person
proceeding. Inner City Press

denied Delgado's motion that
she recuse herself for having
practiced employment defense
law prior to becoming a
Magistrate Judge, and other

Kittredge,Carlin &
McPartland LLP moved to
withdraw, citing "an
irreparable breakdown in the
attorney-client relationship
between the Firm and

Delgado opposed: full

On May 2, Judge
Parker asked for an ex parte
(sealed) motion by May 7, " if
the motion to withdraw is
granted, the Campaign will be
at risk of default if it does
not promptly obtain substitute

filed a declaration including
that "I have information and
reason to believe that
payments made to (a) Kasowitz
Benson Torres LLP ($4.1
million from the Campaign to
the firm, in a mere two month
period immediately following
the November 2020 election),
and payments made to (b) Red

Delgado's subpoena to Fox

requesting to reopen discovery
to depose Michael Glassner,
Delgado put on the docket her
text messages with Jenna Ellis
on June 12 and 13: "Jenna do
you know of anyone who
complained of gender
discrimination or sexual
harassment or if the 2020
campaign settled any potential
lawsuits regarding such?
The Jenna Ellis
response: "Yes. Off the
record- Boris. The campaign
settled multiple lawsuits.
Have you investigator subpoena
Michael Glassner."
On July 10, the
motion was denied:
"Plaintiff's motion is DENIED.
This Order is without
prejudice to Plaintiff
subpoenaing trial witnesses of
her choice, including Glassner
or others with information
that reveals admissions of a
party."
Three months
later on October 10, this:
"ORDER granting [459] Letter
Motion to Compel The Court is
in receipt of Plaintiffs
letter concerning the
scheduling of Michael
Glassners deposition, as well
as Defendants response. (See
ECF Nos. 459-60.) Defendants
do not provide a specific
reason for Glassners
unavailability on the morning
of October 21st or 22nd, nor
have they provided Plaintiff
with alternative dates when
Glassner would be available in
the morning. By close of
business today, Defendants
shall provide to Plaintiff
five dates in October that
Glassner is available to be
deposed in the morning, to
accommodate Plaintiffs
childcare restrictions.The
Clerk of Court is respectfully
directed to terminate the
motion at ECF No. 459.SO
