June 7 –
A man who was deported from
the US in 2022 after serving
time for "making a false
statement in connection with
the acquisition of a firearm"
was presented on June 6 before
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag Court.
With
ICE at the prosecutors' table,
the man was ordered
detained.
The case is US v.
Almonte Palmers, 24-mj-2077
