SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Sept 19 – A man previously
convicted of prostituting out
girls as young as 15 was
brought into the U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrates Court on September
19 charged with guns, drugs
and a crash. Inner City Press
was there, the only media in
the SDNY courtroom.
The
Federal Defender argued that
the pimping was a long time
ago - the conviction was in
2018 - and that now, he is in
drug treatment.
But Magistrate
Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky,
after a break with pre-trial
services, emerged and ordered
the man detained.
The case is
US v. Rosado, 24-mj-3380
(Tarnofsky)
