COURTHOUSE,
Aug 28 – A man arrested
and detained after drugs and a
gun were found in a house in
New Rochelle on June 4, 2026
was released on bond on August
27 in the U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrates Court.
Inner City Press was there,
the only media in the SDNY Mag
court.
His
Federal Defender argued for,
and won, a release order on
$100,000 unsecured bond with
three financially responsible
co-signers. Many letters of
support were annexed.
The next
day, August 28, he was
indicted and the case wheeled
out to Judge George B.
Daniels.
The case is
USA v. Dejesus, 1:26-cr-392
