Oct 25 – A man indicted for
making fake passports in the
Southern District of
Mississippi was arrested,
presented and detained in the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
on October 25. Inner City
Press was there, the only
media in the SDNY Mag court.

are charged inter alia with
bank fraud and using a forged
passport. Federal Defender:
His girlfriend could benefit
from a set of interpretation
ear buds. [Beltre raises his

is talked out of speaking for
himself. He is wearing a white
hoody with "New York" on the
front] FD: We are asking for
bail. Assistant US Attorney:
The defendant is not a US
citizen. He has no known ties
to the US but for this
fraudulent conduct.
AUSA: The
defendant makes fake passports
and documents for fake
marriages for immigration
status. We found machines and
$260,000 in cash. FD: He
should be allowed to
travel FD: He has
applied to ICE to normalize
his immigration status.
AUSA: That is on hold. Some of
the fake passports had
pictures of the defendant
himself, with aliases.
Judge: The
government has met its burden.
He will be detained.
