COURTHOUSE,
Sept 23 – Back in June
prosecutors announced that
ROBERT YEDID pled guilty
to participating in a
five-year insider trading
scheme to reap illegal profits
from stock and options trading
based on inside information
about several health care
company clients of the
investor relations firm where
YEDID was employed.
On September 12
Yedid appeared for sentencing
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Chief Judge Laura Taylor
Swain. Inner City Press was
there.
Yedid said
he now volunteers at New York
Cares, and goes to religious
service.
Chief
Judge Swain credited both and
sentenced him to 15 months, to
begin after the holidays with
Otisville recommended.
Yedid's
lawyer after conferring with
Yedid asked to be able to
redact the transcript of what
was said in open court. The redactions
were deemed narrowly tailored
and were approved on September
22. As of September 24, the redacted
transcript was not in the
PACER terminal.
On September 23
cooperator Andrew Kaufman
asked for time served on
October 7.
The case is
USA v. Yedid, 1:25-cr-248
(Swain)
