Martinez has
been indicted
for filing 83
false tax
returns for 28
clients,
causing a
projected tax
loss to the
IRS of
$237,000.
His
company was
called Apollo
Communications
Corp.
On
August 24,
2023 Martinez
was presented
before U.S.
District Court
for the
Southern
District of
New York
Magistrate
Judge Sarah
Netburn. Inner
City Press was
there that
day, the only
media in the
SDNY Mag
court.
Martinez was
released on
$50,000
unsecured
bond, not to
file any more
tax returns
for other
people.
Jump
cut to October
28, 2024 when
Martinez
before
Magistrate
Judge Barbara
C. Moses pled
guilty to
counts 33, 71,
78 and 78,
with a
sentencing
control date
of April 28,
2025.
