In
a TGI Friday's
on lower
Broadway in
Manhattan on
October 4,
2018 Maggalean
Mosby was
monitoring the
police arrest
of an agitated
patron and her
friend who had
been spat at
when she
herself was
arrested and
abused, she
says. She
sued.
On January 9,
2023 U.S.
District Court
for the
Southern
District of
New York Judge
Sidney H.
Stein held a
final
pre-trial
conference.
Inner City
Press went and
covered
it.
Judge Stein
inquired into
videos to be
presented at
trial, and
ruled on
motions in
limine.
On January 13,
the parties
put in a joint
letter in
which they
agree to the
admissibility
of most of the
TGI Friday's
Security
Video, and
NYPD Body Worn
Camera
exhibits.
They
also stipulate
that Mosby was
in custody for
22 hours and
thirty nine
minutes.
