Bronx Man From Ghana Pleads
Guilty to Defrauding SBA Out of
$128000 amid COVID

Nov 1 – A Bronx man originally
from Ghana was charged with
defrauding the SBA out of
$128,000. On October 30 he
appeared in U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrates court to plead
guilty. Inner City Press was
there.
He said he
has a nerve problem. The AUSA
recounted his false claim to
have been making $260,000 a
year prior to COVID.
The case
was continued in the interest
of justice numerous times,
then indicted.
His plea deal, to
count 2, is for six to 12
months.
