SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
June 1 – Antonino Aiello was
given a prison sentence of
life and 140 years in 1988 for
operating a continuing
criminal enterprise for the
distribution of narcotics, a
so-called Kingpin count.
He is still in US
Penitentiary Hazelton in West
Virginia. He says he is
confined to a wheelchair and
incontinent from a prostate
procedure.
From
there, he filed a pro se
motion for compassionate
release, which was denied.
Now on May 31 he
has renewed it, seeking an
order that his medical records
be released. The case is US v.
Aiello, 84-cr-881 (Carter)
