Man Charged as Felon in Possession of Gun Called Competency by CJA So Motion Jan 12

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Dec 18 –In December 2024 on Jennings Street in the South Bronx a man was arrested when a gun was found and he was charged as a felon in possession.

   Jump cut a year to December 18, 2025 when the man was before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Victor Marrero. He appointed lawyer, from the major lawfirm of Crowell & Morning, said he no longer doubted his client's competency, and might soon be moving to try to suppress the gun.  

  His motion is due on January 12, the Government's response is due February 2, with a conference set for March 13 at 3 pm. 

  The case is USA v. Northover, 1:25-cr-87 (Marrero)
